The advantage of hydroponics is that it does not have limitations as for crop alternation, which means that we can cultivate varieties of lettuce and herbs one after another, depending on our customers’ expectations.
No pesticides are used in the water culture of hydroponics, and as a result that food does not have contact with the soil and no heavy metal compounds enter it. Thanks to this, our lettuce and herbs are tasty and healthy, and through the root they preserve freshness for a longer time.

In 2020, an in-house process sewage treatment plant was commissioned.
Thanks to the commissioning of the sewage treatment plant, which is generated as a result of washing and processing vegetables, clean water is discharged into the natural environment without the need to dispose of waste in the municipal sewage treatment plant.
In 2022, the investment was completed and a photovoltaic farm located on the roofs of car parking shelters was commissioned.
Nowalijka has built a photovoltaic installation with a capacity of 500kW and significantly reduces energy consumption from the heavily loaded municipal grid.
